Filtration solutions for juice

Markets for fruit & vegetable juice are constantly evolving and filtration solutions may differ substantially. Solutions offered by VLS Technologies include sheet filters, micro-filtration cartridge technologies (avoiding the usage of adjuvant substances), rotary vacuum filters designed for products with high content in solids through the usage of filtering adjuvant substances (kieselguhr) and a number of specialized cross flow solutions (some of which have recently been awarded for its technological innovation). For situation specific solutions, please contact CDS LiquiSep.
Filtration solutions for edible oils

Advanced technology in kieselguhr filters by VLS Technologies meets the requirements of many of important olive oil producers in Italy - as proven by many installations. Filtration is a key process step in the edible oil industry as the presence of gums & gels needs to be dealt with. Filtration options in processing edible oil after extraction may include the use of pressure leaf filters, bag filters & cartridge filters. The selection of filter type depends on a number of factors including; space, type of cake discharge, plant capacity, batch or continuous system and cost. For situation specific solutions, please contact CDS LiquiSep.
Filtration solutions for cider

VLS Technologies offer a range of alternatives for filtering cider prior to carbonation / bottling, including; Sheet filters available in different grades of porosity to provide different grades of filtration (from course to sterile), Earth filters with DE as filtration medium for fast, economical filtration of large volumes, Cross flow filters allowing for filtration large volumes in a single step without the use of consumables and Cartridge filters as a particle filter and/or for final filtration to ensure the absence of yeast cells prior to bottling (consisting of a cylindrical filter cartridge held in a housing with product inlet and outlet connections).
